So here I am at the very very beginning of my blogging career. My first comment? Somali pirates - how in the world can we, the United States, leaders of the current World Order, ignore this problem? How can anyone trust American leadership and protection when one of the poorest, most chaotic 'nations' on earth attacks international shipping profitably? This week pirates attacked a Spanish frigate, attacked it in the night, and were let go apparently without consequence. Somali pirates laugh at the world, and with every reason. In Jefferson's time we at least tried to deal with pirates - now apparently we are richer, more powerful but somehow weaker as well.

We need to address this problem with vigor and courage, not.... as we have (not). - Threehair
